Ingredients
4 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup dark chocolate
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 TBSP butter
2 TBSP golden syrup
2 TSP cocoa powder (sifted)
3 TSP confectioners sugar (sifted)
5 Ferrero Rocher Chocolates (chopped)
1/4 cup caramelized sugared peanuts/ toasted nuts of your choice (chopped)
4 Ferrero Rocher Chocolates halved for decoration
Instructions
Start by unwrapping the Ferrero Rochers, chopping 5 and cutting 4 them into halves. You should be careful as the hazelnut inside the center can make it difficult to cut.
In the large bowl, place in the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and butter.
Heat in the microwave in short 40 second intervals. Making sure that you stir each time to prevent the chocolate from burning.
Once the chocolate mixture has melted, add in the golden syrup, cocoa powder and confectioners sugar.
Mix until it has all combined thoroughly – the chocolate fudge should be thick and starting to pull away from the bowl.
Add in the nuts and the chopped Ferrero Rochers. Fold to combine evenly.
Transfer the fudge mixture into the lined baking tray and use the silicone spatula to spread evenly. Press in the Ferrero halves.
Let the fudge cool completely before placing it in the fridge to set further.
Set in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Take it out and cut into 1 inch squares, you should be able to get 36 pieces of fudge out this recipe!
Now you’re ready to serve. Store in an airtight container for up to 2-3 weeks for fresh fudge.
